Welcome to KlugStyle. Your privacy is important to us. This Privacy Policy explains how we handle your information when you use our mobile application.
1. Information We Collect
We collect minimal information necessary to provide our service:
Usage Data: Information about how you interact with the app, including categories browsed and prompts used.
Device Information: Device type, operating system, and app version for analytics and improvement purposes.
Credits & Preferences: Your daily credit balance and app preferences are stored locally on your device.
2. Photos & Face Data
When you use KlugStyle's AI style transformation features, you choose to upload a photo, which may contain your face or another person's face. This photo is sent directly from our servers to our third-party AI image-generation provider for the sole purpose of creating the stylized image you requested. We do not perform facial recognition, extract facial geometry or biometric identifiers, or use your photo to identify you in any way. We do not store your uploaded photo or the generated result on our servers — both exist only transiently in server memory during processing and are automatically and permanently discarded immediately after the generated image is returned to your device. We do not use your photos or any face data for advertising, analytics, model training, or any purpose other than fulfilling your immediate style-transformation request.
3. How We Use Your Information
We use the collected information to:
Provide and improve the AI image generation service
Analyse usage patterns to enhance our image and prompt library
Fix bugs and improve app performance
4. Data Sharing
We do not sell, trade, or rent your personal information to third parties. We may share anonymised, aggregated usage data for analytical purposes only.
5. Data Security
We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your data. No method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure, but we take all reasonable steps to protect your information.
6. Third-Party Services
KlugStyle uses OpenAI's Image Generation API (GPT Image model) to generate your stylized images. When you submit a photo, only the image itself is transmitted to OpenAI for the purpose of generating your requested image — no other personal information (name, account details, location, etc.) is sent alongside it. OpenAI processes this data under its own API Data Usage Policy (https://openai.com/policies/api-data-usage-policies) and Privacy Policy (https://openai.com/policies/privacy-policy). By default, data submitted through OpenAI's API is not used to train OpenAI's models.
7. Children's Privacy
KlugStyle is not directed to children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
8. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any significant changes by updating the effective date above.
